Project Sales Manager – Leeds - £66,000
A great opportunity to join a well-known Building Management Systems Company known for their efforts in the energy and BMS controls market. They are looking to grow their dynamic team.
The Project Sales Manager position
In this role, you will be working with their existing customer base and seeking out new customers, projects, major upgrade work opportunities in the NW Region from end users, main contractors, and M&E contractors. Ensuring that all works secured meet the minimum margin, safeguarding profitability and expectations of the business and providing technical sales and support to achieve the regions sales targets.
What you will be doing
Targeting consultants, M&E contractors, and end users in the Northwest Region to secure BMS projects, upgrades, and energy works.
Promoting and selling the company brand and understanding all the sales propositions.
Nurture and develop new relationships with end users, consultants, and contractors via technical presentations of integrated systems and building management products.
Preparing quotations from site surveys and technical information including specifications for projects.
To provide timely update reports and briefings, monthly reports of sales activity and order forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager.
Be customer focused at all times and deliver outstanding customer service by displaying a positive and proactive approach on every occasion.
Act in a manner that continuously improves your business performance.
Develop long term relationships with existing and new key contacts and decision makers to safeguard any additional requirements.
Schedule regular contact with clients via the telephone and email.
To work with the sales and service teams to ensure the sales offering have clear objectives to winning business from competitors.
Technical responsibilities
Technical support for internal and external clients.
Preparing technical documentation and able to fully understand panel drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Preparing detailed estimates and prices.
Have an in-depth knowledge of BMS and integration.
Keep up to date with BMS & Energy legislation.
Key requirements
Previous experience in the BMS industry
Knowledge of estimating, bid management and BMS would be ideal
Good understanding of the Region and existing relationships with contractors, end users and consultants in the area.
Use of Excel, Word & Outlook, and in-house Management database & Financial systems.
Excellent communication skills

Salary circa £66,000 dependent on experience
