BMS Service - Commissioning Engineer - £52,000 - Scotland

A superb opportunity for a Service and Commissioning Engineer to join a company that is one of the largest operators of energy networks and infrastructure. The company is dedicated to the sustainable development of the energy world. They are looking to grow their team of experienced engineers.

 

The BMS Service - Commissioning Engineer role

In this role you will oversee planned preventative maintenance, commissioning of small works and reactive call outs on various BMS systems.

 

Main responsibilities

·         Complete risk assessments for each job and completing site reports

·         Creating backups of software and strategy files for all site visits

·         Update the server on a regular basis and maintenance of all controls equipment

·         Responsible for taking electrical LAN maps of site architecture for all sites visited under a service

·         Designing and implementing PPM planners for all sites visited

·         Attending callouts and breakdowns

·         Delivering daily updates to line manager

·         Responsible for building and maintaining client relations

·         Responsible for commissioning various DDC control systems i.e. Trend, Cylon, Siemens and Tridium

·         Daily management of sub-contractors

·         Carrying out small works, ensuring projects meet the clients and consultants design specification in relation to BMS controls installation, design, and implementation

·         Creating software, wiring & commissioning schedules and O&M documentation complete with description of operation

·         Meticulous demonstration and handover to client on smaller projects

 

Key skills required

Experience with any one of the following systems: Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens or ALC

Knowledge of Niagara based systems

Knowledge of HVAC systems

Great IT skills

Be able to correctly interpret and alter existing BMS system control strategy

Excel, Word & Outlook

Salary and Benefits package
