Energy Account Manager – Hybrid/ Essex - £50,000

A great opportunity for an Account Manager to join a leading BMS Controls company managing their energy performance portfolio.

 

The Energy Account Manager position

In this role, you will have responsibility for a portfolio of energy performance/maintenance contracts and the proactive management of consumption and surveying new sites. You will be a key point of contact for clients providing organisational contract development and management activities, alongside scoping and managing works.

 

You will have knowledge and experience of BMS technologies (Trend/Tridium), as well as electrical & mechanical understanding and awareness.

 

This role will require an individual who is highly organised, motivated and able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team across multiple projects and sites varying in size. You will be reliable, enthusiastic, professional and have excellent customer skills.

 

Main responsibilities

·         Managing existing portfolio

·         Identifying and establishing energy saving schemes

·         Research and proposal of energy saving initiatives

·         Liaising with existing and new clients

·         Preparing tenders, proposals and quotations

·         Providing energy performance support

·         Reviewing costs and supplier prices

·         Writing and delivering reports.

·         Produce costings and proposals for to provide contract assistance and product education

·         Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs

·         Provide energy and product support to the engineers.

·         Prepare design and write reports regarding consumption, budget and financial performance.

·         Survey sites

·         Full UK Driving Licence

 

Working pattern

·         Normal working hours Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4:30pm.

·         Site/office/Home based. Attend site regularly to identify optimisation opportunities and validate actions

 

Salary and benefits

Competitive salary circa £50k or more depending on experience

Person profile

You will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. A keen attention to detail and previous experience in a similar role.
